There are several ways you can use Mediasite with Brightspace. Which you use will depend on what you're trying to accomplish in your course.
You can:
- Create a playlist of videos for your course using the Mediasite Course Channel. This can be accessed under the Resources tab of your Brightspace course.
- Add Mediasite content using the Insert Stuff button in the HTML editor in Brightspace. This can add your videos to Announcements, Content, Assignments, Discussions, Quizzes, or anywhere the HTML editor is available in Brightspace (for example, you could create feedback videos for students and add them to your feedback in the Assignments tool Evaluation panel).
- Add a Mediasite quiz assignment to Content.
- Copy your Zoom recordings automatically to Mediasite AND send them over to your Mediasite Course Channel in Brightspace.

Keep in mind that in the course, they use "Mediasite Videos" and "My Mediasite" buttons in the main navigation menu of the course. BUT in Commonwealth U Brightspace, these are listed as "Mediasite Course Channel" and "MyMediasite" under the "Resources" tab of each course.
