Brightspace Zoom Dashboard Issue: Mediasite integration settings not saving in Dashboard

Workaround to resolve copy to Mediasite zoom integration not working in Brightspace Zoom dashboard

UPDATE: Nov 2023, this feature IS working as expected. If you encounter difficulty please submit a ticket for assistance.

If you are an instructor who wants to auto copy your Zoom recordings to Mediasite, please note that applying the settings to do this in the Zoom Brightspace dashboard is not currently working. 

To enable the Mediasite settings, you need to do so in the ZOOM web portal at https://commonwealthu-edu.zoom.us

  1. Create or edit a meeting, then select Yes for the "Copy to Mediasite" option.
  2. Enter your course ID number from Brightspace in the following field. 
  3. Click Save.

If you import the meeting to your dashboard in Brightspace, the meeting's Mediasite settings will display there once set in the web portal.
