Overview
Multi-classroom synchronous instruction is an educational delivery model where an instructor simultaneously teaches across two or more physical or virtual rooms in real time. This setup uses integrated audio, video, and digital collaboration tools to connect separated groups of students simultaneously.
Zoom Settings
Multi-classroom synchronous functions are handled in Zoom settings, either on the Zoom controller in a Zoom room or in the Zoom meeting options if you are hosting the meeting from a PC. Zoom allows the host to:
Choose which input is shared (PC content, Webcam, Document Camera)
Adjust volume
Manage participants
Allow participants to share content
Record the meeting
Use White Boards, Breakout Rooms, and Polls/Quizzes

Some remote rooms can be turned on by inviting them as a participant. Invite -> Zoom Rooms -> Search for Room
Our Recommendations
Set each of the rooms being used as an alternate host. Designating an alternative host in Zoom
Use higher-fidelity sources for sharing content such as the doc cam for paper materials, and digital materials from the PC.
Mute in-room microphone if remote participants are speaking if there's an audio feedback loop.
Place lapel microphones in the center of the chest on the sternum, about 6 to 8 inches below the speaker's chin.
Avoid using in-class whiteboards and chalkboards.
