If you receive an email that you feel may be malicious in nature, whether it's phishing for information, a scam, or just feels suspicious, you can take the following actions:
1) Click the “Report Suspicious” button in the email itself. This alerts our phishing teams and provides all the diagnostic information about the email we need to determine our next steps.
2) Your email client (i.e. Outlook) may have a Report Phishing button in the menu ribbon. Clicking that will alert our team as well, but the Report Suspicious button in the email is preferred.
3) You can forward the message (as an attachment, if possible) to: phishing@commonwealthu.edu
