Papercut printing

Body

Papercut printing is synced across the Commonwealth University campuses.  However, the print release systems that each campus are currently using are not.  Here are the procedures for releasing print jobs at each campus.

Mansfield Campus:

  • From a computer that has Papercut installed with the MU Printing print queue, print the documents as you normally would.
  • To login to the printers (all Mansfield campus Papercut MFPs are Ricoh IM C2000 machines), if you have a Mansfield ID card you can use it to tap login.  The sensor is located to the right of the screen on the printer.
    • The first time that you tap your Mansfield ID card, it will ask you to associate your card.  Input your FULL commonwealthu.edu email address and the password that you use to login to your campus accounts.
  • If you do not have your ID card with you, or are from Bloomsburg or Lock Haven campuses, you can manually login using your FULL commonwealthu.edu email address.

* You currently cannot associate your ID card from Bloomsburg or Lock Haven campuses, as they use different technology.

  • Once you are logged in, you will see three options.
    • For printing, you will want the print release option on the left.

* If the computer that you released your print job from had the Papercut client running, and you selected your appropriate cost center when you released the print job, you can skip this section and select "print all" above the boxes.

    • You can also modify your print job on this page.  If it was originally color, you can convert it to grayscale and/or have the document print as 2-sided.
