Commonwealth University is committed to making our digital content accessible so everyone can access our information and resources. Our university is a public institution in a state consortium and is required to uphold the regulations and requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. These regulations are set to change on April 24, 2026.
- Requirements by ADA Title II: On April 24, 2026, we are expected to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
- Commonwealth University has proposed an interim policy to guide work related to these matters. This interim policy is working its way through the regular channels and process at the moment. We will update this as more information is available.
