How to Add Objects from the LOR to Content

  1. Go to your course homepage.
  2. Click Content.
  3. Click Table of Contents
  4. Click the carat by Table of Contents in the content viewing area
  5. Select Add Object from LOR.

  6. Use the search field to search for what you are looking for. For our example, we are looking for student modules created by the CATS team, so we enter “students, cats” in the field.
  7. Click Search.

  8. Results will display below, so scroll down once the search results load.
  9. Select the result you want to add to your Content.
  10. Click Next.

  11. On the next page, select the option “Dynamic Link to Newest Version”.
  12. Click Next.

  13. Select the parent module for the object. (the CATS student modules are modules so they can go under “—None—” to be a top level module in your course, or you can select a module to add them as a submodule in your course)
  14. Click Create Topic.

  15. The module will be added to your course from the LOR as dynamically linked content that stays updated to the most current version.
