Learning spaces at Commonwealth University vary in levels of technology implementation but have a core set of features at the standard level. This page will serve as a resource to detail the core set of features and additional available technologies, and will be updated to include linked video tutorials and additional instructional resources. 

Core Technology Features in Classrooms

  • Wireless presentation connectivity
  • Station computer(phasing out) OR USB-C connectivity for laptop power, audio, video, and Ethernet
  • Touch/button panel control system
  • Platform agnostic web-conferencing solution for BYOD

Levels of Technology in Classrooms

  • Standard Presentation: core features 
  • Enhanced Presentation: core features, plus 
    • Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) camera to capture front of room w/ control system integration
    • Ceiling-mounted microphones/speakers
  • Advanced: standard and enhanced features, plus
    • Wireless mic system for large spaces
    • Confidence monitors for presenter
